Artlife Fest 2021

Since the founding of Artlife Fest in 2018, a little time has passed, but the festival has already managed to become a loud and expected event in the world of contemporary art. Despite the special conditions dictated by the pandemic, the coming event promises to be large -scale. At the end of October, 63 artists from 23 countries who create in different techniques will present their works in the arena of their works: from academicism and hyperrealism to digital and feather illustrations. An interactive festival on the topic “The Path of New Reality” will present the audience with an exposition of more than 330 works, master classes and copyright lectures. Among the headliners are Aranitsas Martinez, Susan Mata, Michelle Korman, Mark Tennant and Mark Konstantin Hindil.

Multimedia exhibition BANKSY

The creative space Lumier Hall regularly pleases the Moscow public with multimedia exhibitions that develop a new way of interaction between spectators and works of art. Since October, the site offers to plunge into the creative world, perhaps the most famous and mysterious street artist of our time – Banksy. His personality is still covered with legends, and spectators learn about the emergence of new works from his Instagram. The figurative statements of the author are often addressed to acute -social topics and topical plots. For multimedia show, reproductions of key graffiti Banksy and the originals of individual works were collected.

Sport and healthy lifestyle festival SN Pro Expo

Zemfira recorded her debut album in 1998–1999 with the participation of the leader of the Mumiy Troll group, Ilya Lagutenko. The record Zemfira not only became incredibly successful, but also launched the boom of Russian female rock. In her songs, Zemfira focuses on the work of Viktor Tsoi and Thom Yorke, but at the same time creates music that is unique for the Russian stage. Her songs are featured in the films of Kira Muratova and Renata Litvinova, and already on October 20, you can listen to Zemfira's best compositions at Khlebozavod performed by the chamber music ensemble Simple Music Ensemble.

Rock opera Crime and Punishment

The author's trio of Andrei Konchalovsky, Eduard Artemiev and Yuri Ryashentsev 35 years ago decided to compose a rock opera based on Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment. The idea was embodied in March 2016 on the stage of the Musical Theatre. The result is an expressive statement in which the classic plot takes on a bold reading, transferring the heroes of the novel to the gangster 90s. The action is accompanied by ragged dances, old-fashioned ballad rock, dashing stunt tricks and dynamic video projections.

For the 200th anniversary of the birth of Fyodor Dostoevsky, the Russian Museum has prepared an exhibition of paintings and sculptures inspired by the personality and work of the writer. The exposition presents his classical and abstract portraits, cycles of illustrations for works, as well as sketches of costumes and scenery (works by Alexander Benois and Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin) for performances staged in the first third of the 20th century based on his works. It is curious that the exposition is located in the halls of the Mikhailovsky Castle: in the 1840s, the Engineering School was located here, where Dostoevsky was a student.

International Festival of Independent Video Art Mustsee-2021

The British photographer Nick is experimenting with x -ray devices of various capacities, looking inside the usual objects and finding a hidden meaning in them. The visa opened his creative method, working at one of the morning television shows, where he was instructed to find a can of cola with a prize code using radiography. In the process of monotonous work, the photographer decided to do a similar operation with his sneakers. The visa was delighted with the resulting picture and has since use X -rays to create original images, which will be exhibited in Erart until February 6th
