Anger Test

The Anger Level Test reflects your tendency to be angry using various empirical dimensions.

Anger Test

Drawing on the work of Dr. Judith M. Siegel, this test measures your level of anger using various empirical dimensions. An analysis of Dr. Siegel's work showed that this test has good psychometric data and high reliability. Therefore, this test is often used for research and clinical trials, in which it has proven to be useful not only in determining the level of anger, but also in determining its effect on a person's physical health and stress levels.

For each following statement, indicate how much you agree with it.

Question 1 of 38

When someone makes me angry, I show it.

The IDR-MAT© should not be confused with the MAI (Anger Inventory)

The IDR-MAT © is the property of IDR Labs International. The MAI test is the property of J.M. Siegel.

The IDR-MAT/MAI test is widely used to determine a person's level of anger. With so many new questionnaires being used in schools, workplaces, and correctional facilities recently, questions have been raised about the reliability and validity of the primary studies. Primary tests are already quite outdated, however, many modern and scientifically based studies rely on the parameters proposed by Dr. Siegel, which have confirmed their reliability. Modern research shows that the IDR-MAT/MAI tests can still be used successfully to determine a respondent's propensity for anger. Analyzes of the MAI test have repeatedly shown the accuracy of the results in relation to the aspect of irascibility (displaying the frequency and strength of anger), identifying potential causes of anger, and in general determining the respondent's hostility to the world.

While both tests are designed to measure anger, the IDR-MAT © should not be confused with the MAI test developed by Dr. JM Siegel. However, both are professionally designed tests (or questionnaires) that measure the tendency to anger and consider the states associated with this feeling. The IDR-MAT© is the property of IDR Labs International. The MAI test is the property of J.M. Siegel.
