New sports grounds appeared in the City Park

In the City Park, on the eve of the City Day, a playground with simulators was launched. Zhanna Davydova, director of the UIA City Park, told about this at the next planning meeting in the City Administration.

According to her, these are the same simulators as those that work on the site near the Triumph Plaza MTRK. There they are in demand, despite the fact that they are located in the open air. And the new gym in the park is under a canopy, among the pines, not far from the city playground. It turned out an environmentally friendly island for sports.

The head of the City Administration Tatyana Leonova noticed that this site was made at the request of the older generation – residents of the Old City. They are mainly designed for Nordic walking classes and small towns. So, there are various active sports for the elderly in the City Park. All sites and sections are free of charge.

– People have been exercising at the new gym for a week now and leaving positive feedback. But the canopy on the site is designed for 10 simulators, and we have installed 6 so far. We will definitely add more, possibly for groups of people with limited mobility. We also have an additional area for yoga and Qigong gymnastics in this zone. Now there are a lot of people who want to engage in them, and therefore this additional site is almost always busy.
