On May 31, 2021, at the Kaluga PSMA RUS plant, an official launch of the production of the new Pajero Sport took place. Mr. Osamu Ivaba, president and chief executive director of MMS Rus LLC, as well as Mr. Manabur Mori, deputy general director of PSMA Rus LLC, took part in the ceremony.

From the beginning of June, the SUV will be available in all official dealerships of Mitsubishi Motors in Russia.

The flagship SUV Mitsubishi has undergone a number of significant changes. The proprietary design concept Dynamic Shield was additionally rethought. The high hood of the new car emphasizes the enlarged front part, while more massive chrome parts give it a more impressive and modern look. The car interior has changed significantly, becoming even more comfortable. The new Pajero Sport also received new options, including the contactless opening of the trunk.

In total, the updated model will be presented in six different trim levels with a 2.4 -liter diesel turbo engine and a 3.0 -liter gasoline at a price of 2,879,000 rubles.
