We divided the autumn European marathons into groups so that everyone would definitely find their own option, based on preferences – weather, track topography, budget and logistics.

Scandinavia is the most expensive destination in Europe, you need to be prepared for this. However, Western countries are also not far behind. It is better to plan such a trip in advance and carefully study all the subtleties and nuances. Tickets should also be bought in advance – you can find options with transfers up to 100 euros.

And here you can run a marathon – for example, in Tallinn or Vilnius. Both cities annually fall into various Must See ratings in Europe.

Marathons in Poland are a great option for those who want to get a high level of organization at a low price compared to Western Europe.

Germany is the best organization

Each German marathon is a carefully thought -out running holiday: thousands of participants from around the world, interesting large -scale EXPO and mass support of the audience. And also – almost always a quick route, quite suitable for the personal.

It is convenient to get to Germany with low -cost airlines (Wizz Air and Ryanair have options). If there is no flight to a suitable city, you can use the railway and get to the destination by train for a couple of hours, the ticket service is very convenient and understandable, trains run every 20-30 minutes.

One nuance in this continuous positive – some of these cities can not be called especially tourist and party. But before the marathon you will definitely not get tired, examining the sights.

For those who decided to spend autumn leave by the sea and at the same time by chance run a marathon.

They are waiting for you: warm sunny weather, beautiful views (very often routes are made so that the participants admire the sea or ocean) and the mental atmosphere of support from local residents. And, of course, attractions and chic cuisine. If you love summer and do not faint from one thought that you have to run around the sun – feel free to choose the southern marathons.
