Dynamo-Uralochka will play the first match in the Euroleague Final Four

The European Aquatics League (LEN) held in Rome the draw for the main club water polo tournaments of the Old World. The Final Four of the Women's Euroleague, in which Uralochka Zlatoust made its way, will be held in Budapest from April 30. In addition to our team, two Hungarian clubs, Dunayváros and UVSE, as well as the Greek Olympiakos, represent the water polo elite. The formula of the tournament is semi-final matches and the Superfinal, in which their winners advance.

The draw determined the composition of the semi-final pairs. The first rival of Uralochka was Dunayvaros. The club from Zlatoust has already met with this team more than once, our water polo players have won more often. Last year, tournament fate brought these clubs to the ¼ final stage. The match in Hungary ended in a draw at 11:11, the return game in Zlatoust did not take place due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Recall that Dynamo-Uralochka this season for the first time since 2007 made it to the Final Four of the most prestigious club tournament in Europe. Our team managed to successfully pass the group stage, and in the play-offs to defeat the multiple winner of Eurocups Kinef from Kirishi.
