Siberian Federal District, April 25 – Sibinfo. 66% of Siberians, Transbaikalians and residents of Buryatia will spend the May holidays at home or in the country, 13% intend to work all this time. Only 24% are confident that they will be able to realize their summer vacation plans.

These are the poll results * held by the bank Opening and IC Rosgosstrakh.

36% of respondents are going to spend the May holidays at home. 30% will go to the country. 13% are going on a trip to Russia. Only 3% intend to try to go abroad for the May holidays. 10% decided to cancel trips to save money. 13% of Siberians, Transbaikalians and residents of Buryatia are going to work during the May holidays.

The plans of 86% of respondents for the May holidays have not changed in the new reality. 47% did not intend to go anywhere anyway, and another 39% intend to go where they wanted to go. 10% canceled a planned trip to save money, 1% – due to restrictions on air travel abroad, 3% – due to restrictions on air travel within Russia.

Siberians, Transbaikalians and residents of Buryatia are cautious about plans for a summer vacation. 33% stated that they have such plans, but are not sure that they will be implemented. 19% do not plan a summer vacation because there is too much uncertainty.

24% reported that they are not going on vacation this summer. The same number of respondents believe that their plans for summer vacation 2022 will come true.

60% of those who go on vacation in the summer plan to spend about the same amount of money on it as they did in 2021. 20% will spend more on vacation than last year, and the same amount will spend less than a year earlier.

The survey was conducted on April 15-21 using the online interview method. 1000 men and women aged 18-65 were interviewed throughout Russia (the sample structure reflects the population of cities with more than 100 thousand people).
