Decathlon, a chain of sporting goods stores, has informed customers that it will suspend the operation of a store in Vladimir from April 25. It is noted that it will be temporarily closed for an indefinite period.

Emails with this information are sent to those who have previously signed up for a loyalty program or subscribed to the Decathlon newsletter. The reason for the closure of the store is said to be external conditions, due to which it is not possible to ensure the supply of goods. It is proposed to clarify the current information on the Internet portal, which at the moment does not work quite correctly.

“We will fulfill all obligations to you regarding the warranty, returns of goods and orders that are placed before the suspension of operations,” Decathlon promises.

It should be noted that the only Decathlon store in Vladimir is located in the Lenta shopping center at 2 Moskovskoe shosse.

The Decathlon network announced the suspension of activities in Russia on March 29 due to strict compliance with international sanctions. The company said it would close all 57 stores in major cities. At the same time, they promised to provide support to employees from Russia – there are more than two and a half thousand of them.
