Alena Tremasova from the village of Neton Ust-Ilim region won a gold medal in the weight category up to 46 kilograms at the Russian boxing championship among girls 15-16 years old. The victory of Alena secured a place at the European Championship. This was reported on March 25, 2019 in the press service of the Ministry of Sports in the Irkutsk Region.

The tournament was held from March 16 to March 22 in the village of Vityazevo, Krasnodar Territory.

The silver medalists were Kristina Stupina from Irkutsk (weight category up to 54 kilograms) and Tatyana Bogdanova from Ust-Ilimsk (over 80 kilograms). Yulia Starchenko from Zheleznogorsk-Ilimsky received a bronze award in weight up to 63 kilograms.

According to the results of the tournament, Alena Tremasova received the right to participate in the European Championship in boxing among girls 15-16 years old. Kristina Stupina, Tatyana Bogdanova and Yulia Starchenko will take part in training training, after which they can also be included in the Russian national team to participate in the European Boxing Championship.
